You apply for this BEFORE your 30 days visa-free stay period expires. We will apply for you for an extra 29 days stay in the Philippines. You will be issued with an actual tourist visa on this occasion. This is moderately easy to do, but still has the crowds and the hassle.

Tourist Visa Extension

You apply for this if you want to stay longer than your initial 30 days + 29 day extension stay periods. You want another 2 months stay in the Philippines.
